Poems, podcasts and plots
Australian Druid Julie Brett interviewed me a little while ago, and that conversation is now up on her podcast. She’s on lots of platforms, so if you have a favourite place to listen, it’s worth looking there. Otherwise, https://forestspirituality.podbean.com/e/nimue-brown-and-localised-druidry/
Last weekend at Heart Festival was an amazing experience. Poetry written there will be going up on the community’s website at some point - I’ll share the link when I have it. In the meantime I’ve started blogging about the experience - https://druidlife.wordpress.com/2024/08/28/resident-of-the-heart/.
Alongside this, I have new posts up about Druidry and service, body and identity and a poem about kindness. I’ve also reviewed Claudie Arseneault’s new fantasy novella The Sea Spirit Festival - which I can very much recommend. https://druidlife.wordpress.com/2024/08/27/the-sea-spirit-festival/
I’ve had a little bit of time off this week, which has been lovely. Next week I’m going to dive in to work on Murder Village - I’m writing a folk horror novel next. I’m starting to think about the next non-fiction project as well, which I shall be starting soon.
And, a reminder that you can find my print books on Amazon (please ignore the very out of date biog which I have thus far failed to persuade Amazon to fix.)
If you’d like to explore my self published pdfs - free or pay what you like - then you can find those over here - https://ko-fi.com/O4O3AI4T/shop
