Love, tentacles and other gigs
This is the tentacle heart I drew for Hopeless, Maine this week. I’ve also blogged about romance. In terms of love this week has been all about my partner having his final dose of radiotherapy, so from here it’s all about healing.
I’ve been blogging a bit about human creativity in comparison to what’s re-hashed by the software being misleadingly described as AI. Thoughts on art and on reading are on the Druid Life blog.
I’m performing as one of Jessica Law’s Outlaws on Saturday. I really hadn’t thought Keith would be able to do this gig, but he’s going to be playing guitar. We were told to expect that he’d be on morphine by this point, so it all feels miraculous. (That’s Keith Errington, not to be confused with the entirely different Keith Hyett who will be playing guitar alter in the afternoon!)
I’ve been working on a few things this week but most of it isn’t at a stage where it is easy to talk about it. I have mooted the idea of doing a fundraising anthology called The Folk Of Gloucester to support the venue of that name and there seems to be plenty of interest, so that’s going to be a thing this year.
I may well have a cover reveal for you next week.
