Having a revamp
This week I’ve had a bit of a revamp over on Druid Life - the above banner art is also my first visual collaboration with Keith Errington. I’m also revamping a book at the moment, and my social media presence. I’m now on BlueSky as me - https://bsky.app/profile/nimueb.bsky.social and Hopeless, Maine is on there too - https://bsky.app/profile/hopelessmaine.bsky.social I am still on twitter with various accounts but that’s mostly out of spite now.
For anyone curious about my personal life, there’s a ‘what’s going on with me’ post on the blog this week - thee have been some massive changes for me this year https://druidlife.wordpress.com/2023/08/27/massive-shifts/ I’ve also entered into a conversation about honesty in the publishing industry, which is also a lot of heart-on-sleeve stuff https://druidlife.wordpress.com/2023/08/30/writers-life-joining-a-conversation/
Over on Patreon, I’m poised to send out physical copies of books to people who are in at the right level. Patreon supporters at all levels get unique content from me every month, should you feel so moved. https://www.patreon.com/NimueB
For the steampunks amongst you, SteamPaper has come out today - its a monthly thing you can subscribe to for free with news for UK steampunks.
My big excitement this week is getting set up with a desk and workspace of my own. It’s been more than a decade since I last had a work space that was 100% mine and did not have to double up as something else. I’m enjoying using it, and I’m right next to the window with views of ash trees and magpies. I need to fill that top shelf with nonsense and goblin treasures, but that will take time.
