Failing to be a serious author
So there I was at Raising Steam, in the spoken word tent as the rain lashed down, failing to be a serious author. We were doing another performance of The Drag King In Yellow later in the afternoon and there was nowhere sensible to change. Such is my life. It was an incredibly full on weekend - an Ominous Folk set on Friday, the talk, a set with Jessica Law, Drag Kings on Saturday and then another Ominous Folk set at Festival at the Edge on the Sunday. Somehow I am not dead and even managed to get out and see Eliza Carthy during the week.
