Comics, skulls and the bone daughter
This weekend, Sloth Comics is taking the final Hopeless, Maine graphic novel on it’s first outing - to Rai Con in Glasgow. There have been sightings of books in the wild and I’m waiting (with all the inevitable nerves) for the first reviews.
On the skulls front, I have contributed a dead horse to this charity auction project -
https://skullsandsheetsauction.wordpress.com/ There are some wonderful pieces here, do have a look.
On the Druid Life blog, David Bridger has shared his ancestral altar https://druidlife.wordpress.com/2023/10/31/my-ancestors-altar/
and I’ve reviewed Irisanya Moon’s new book (out in December) https://druidlife.wordpress.com/2023/11/01/earth-spirit-gaia/
Over on the Hopeless blog I’ve got a collaboration with an entirely brilliant child - The Bone Daughter https://hopeless-maine.co.uk/2023/11/03/the-bone-daughter/
My substack shoutout this week is for horror writer C. M. Rosens.
And as it’s also SteamPaper week I thought I’d waft that about too - this is a great news and events source for steampunks in the UK. https://97az8.r.a.d.sendibm1.com/mk/mr/sh/6rqJ8GoudeITQ3brLc8xDyEMVYD/ABkggAMxl4pN
