Books, fate and raising steam
I’m doing this post a day early because tomorrow I’m running off to Raising Steam (Stoke Prior, UK Midlands) and from there to Festival at the Edge (FATE) on Sunday, so it’s going to be a busy weekend.
After all the setbacks around Hopeless, Maine: Survivors we’ve cheered ourselves by putting Once Upon a Hopeless, Maine on Amazon - more about the project over here - https://hopeless-maine.co.uk/2023/07/20/once-upon-a-hopeless-maine-2/
This is a small, horrible not-children’s book by Keith Errington, it’s very funny in an evil sort of a way, and I did the colouring on it.
There’s a whole array of new content on the blog, but I’d like to direct your attention to my review of Bludzee, published by Sloth Comics. It’s a lovely graphic novel and I can very much recommend it https://druidlife.wordpress.com/2023/07/17/bludzee/
Raising Steam her produced an album, which has Demon Devices on it - a song from The Ominous Folk, written by my sproggling, and also a song written by Keith Errington, as well as lots of other material from friends and assorted cool people.
I’ve got plotting to do this weekend - there’s nothing like being at an event for planning future shenanigans, so that’s going to be a thing.
