There’s been a surprising amount going on this week now that I pause to look back on it. Tonight I’m involved with an open mic on zoom - as with the above flier. I’ve been busy on the musical front, and I’ve got a lot of writing done on my hopepunk work in progress - Fast Fashion at the Centre of the World. I also wrote a bit of Hopeless, Maine fiction which you can read over here - https://hopeless-maine.co.uk/2024/01/14/what-grows-in-sunlight/
I had a book pass the 1000 sales mark - more of that here with details about the Moon Books sale going on - there will be a flier at the end of the newsletter as well. I’ve written a bit about my partner’s cancer - he’s going through treatment at the moment, and I’ve written about the magical violin. I have a violin now!
In other music news, I’m working on some chants for my local fairy events - things we can sing in the street while parading. I’ve written two and the idea is that they can be sung separately or together. This is the first one, the second one and the combined effect should be along shortly.
I’m particularly scruffy in this video, but there are zero caterpillars n my hair.
And that Moon Books flier I promised with sales details - I have quite a few books in this one which you can find here - https://www.collectiveinkbooks.com/moon-books/authors/nimue-brown
Thank you for this lovely post, and I'm sorry to hear about your partner's cancer. I can send him some Reiki if he's interested.
