Alice, Aurochs and other gigs
Having had a quiet week, I’ve followed up with an entirely bonkers very busy sort of week. Here I am in Shrewsbury, not working…
There are some yurt reflections on the blog and also a review for Craig Hallam’s fabulous new book opening his Hexford Witches series. There’s also everything else I managed to post in the last couple of weeks. I invite you to dig around.
Alice, then. I am now on the cover for the Alice novella and happily credited as co-author, which is lovely. What delights me most is that the team I’ve supported clearly think that having my name on the cover of this project benefits them. There’s a limited edition print run out there, I will have copies, and plots are afoot to see how else this story can get out into the world.
As for the aurochs, that would be the summer solstice animist journal from Aurochs Press, which you can find over here - https://aurochspress.co.uk/homecoming It’s got Ronald Hutton and Gordan Maclellan in it, so I’m keeping very good company here.
On the gig front, Carnival of Cryptids are at The Folk of Gloucester this Saturday, and I think I will be back there on the 6th of July in a different configuration. I’ll be playing at Raising Steam in July. I’ve also got something very cool lined up for August.
I’ll be at the Pagan Tribal Gathering on the Friday of this event, talking about the bard path and magical creativity.
